In order to regain the original powerful spirit of anime songs in the ever-progressing animation world, JAM Project was launched by powerful singers in year 2000. Currently, there are five regular members. Their names are Hironobu Kageyama, Masaaki Endoh, Hiroshi Kitadani, Masami Okui and Yoshiki Fukuyama. The members compose “anime songs” for “anime” themselves. They are involved in everything and are continuing to move forward now.

☆ Establishment declaration of JAM Project
“For the children who are responsible for the future… and for the adults who don’t forget their dreams…”
“The heros in the screen and the children in front of the screen are both seeking powerful voices and spirits. “
It is already obvious, but no child in Japan has grown up without receiving the baptism of robots and superheros! In their distant memories, everyone has imagined a giant robot that stands up bravely with the sunset on its back. Also, everyone must have been full of a sense of justice and the fighting-spirit in their small hearts. Everyone must have played with their childhood friends in a park near their house all day, repeated their transformation poses and special moves, and jumped from the top of a jungle gym. Read more Currently, animation in Japan is the most advanced in the world. Many works are shown around the world. They are big hits and continue to break audience rating records in those countries. We want to compose and sing theme songs that are suitable for highly advanced Japanese animation! Even though big artists make theme songs popular with tie-up strategies, the powerful theme songs that push Goku, who breaks rocks, rides Mazinger and clouds, and flies around the sky, have disappeared! ! Because of such circumstances, a unit called “JAM Project” was launched by a group of singers. Each of them has built his or her own position in the anime song genre. Moreover, they felt sorry about the situation mentioned above. They are full of anime song spirit and wanted to make songs like those again. Most importantly, their voices have “power”, which distinguishes them from other singers. When they focus on being singers, all members are present. They are the strongest unit and rearrange various patterns. They are going to compose anime songs that will continue to be sung forever and exist with the heros, for children and anime fans around the world. We think the fact that they gathered as a unit one name clarifies a lot of things. When Hironobu was 16 years old, he played his debut performance with the rock band Lazy on a TV show called “Hello Young” on Osaka’s ABC network. As a result of this performance, he garnered the praise of Hiroshi Kamayatsu. 1977 – “Hey I Love You” was released by RVC (now BMG Funhouse). He gained massive popularity as Lazy’s vocalist, known as Michelle. Other major hits were “Akazukinchan Goyoujin” and “Dreamer” and the like. Lazy had major impact on Japan’s rock scene with albums like their last studio album, “Uchuusen Chikyuugou”, and their last live album, “Moetsukitaseishun”. In 1997, when his hit theme song, “Yuusha Ou Tanjou!”, for the TV Asahi series, “The King of Braves GaoGaiGar”, was released, the “Young Lion of Anison”, Masaaki Endoh, became a hit with anime fans all over the country. Among all the mainstream tie-up songs for anime show them songs, his was given the review that it was an “orthodox robot anime song” that hasn’t been heard for a long time. From the year 2000, the acoustic live, “Akogi na Futari Tabidaze!”, with Hironobu Kageyama (of the same office) expanded nationally (about 70 shows in two years) and they released their first live album. Also in this year, the revolutionary anime music group, JAM Project (a group consisting of Ichiro Mizuki, Hironobu Kageyama, Rika Matsumoto, Eizo Sakamoto (Animetal), and Masaaki Endoh; currently joining is Hiroshi Kitadani, Masami Okui, and Yoshiki Fukuyama) was formed. She Joined “JAM Project” in 2003 and was also involved in producing music. “JAM Project LIVE 2011-2012 GO!GO!GOING!!~Fumetsu no Zipang~” had 14 performances in Japan and “JAM Project LIVE 2011-2012 GO!GO!GOING!!~ARIGATO TOMODACHI~” had four performances around Asia for a total of 18 performances, closing with their final performance in Japan at “Budokan 2 Days”.
And there is one more thing we want you to remember. We loved TV cartoons, and we also loved the “theme songs” as much as the comics! ! Of course it’s the special music for heros who fly in the sky, crush the mountains and defeat the enemies with their special moves. The heros have been made to be the main characters.
The rich individuality of each member will come together as one. We believe that they will stimulate each other and continue to compose exciting songs in the future. We hope that this project will become a trigger and encourage more powerful anime songs to be composed.
